To provide a vaporization apparatus for a low-temperature liquefied gas which is provided with a mist removing means capable of defrosting frost adhered to inside without newly adding a heating means for defrosting as well as a method of operating the vaporization apparatus for low-temperature liquefied gas.
In the method of operating the vaporization apparatus 10 for low-temperature liquefied gas which is provided with a vaporizing tube 14 formed with a flow passage therein which the low-temperature liquefied gas flows, a surrounding bulkhead 22 which surrounds from an installation surface G to a lower end of the vaporizing tube 14 by leaving a ventilation path 26 from outside and constrains spread along the installation surface G of mist and a ventilation means 24 which forms air flow in the ventilation path 26, the method is alternately performed by removing a mist process which exhausts air containing the mist from the inside T1 of the surrounding bulkhead 22 to the outside T2 of the surrounding bulkhead 22 through the ventilation path 26 and a defrosting process which removes the mist adhered by means of the removing mist process by blowing air in the outside T2 of the surrounding bulkhead 22 to the inside of the surrounding bulkhead 22 through the ventilation path 26.
