Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten combustion startup time at the time of starting operation, to raise heat exchanging efficiency per unit volume of a heat exchanging portion, and to make small the size of the entire heater.
SOLUTION: A ring-shaped fuel vaporizing medium 4 is arranged on a vertical wall surface of a combustion chamber. A combustion air introducing hole 6 for generating a flow of swirl is opened on a surface surrounded by the fuel vaporizing medium 4 to feed fuel to the upper portion of the fuel vaporizing medium 4. A first combustion gas gathering portion 9 as a combustion gas channel is provided at a downstream side of a secondary combustion chamber which is adjacent to a primary combustion chamber which is surrounded by a combustion cylinder 1. A second combustion gas gathering portion 10 is provided in the periphery of the primary combustion chamber and the secondary combustion chamber. The first combustion gas gathering portion 9 and the second combustion gas gathering portion 10 are connected with each other through a plurality of connecting pipes 11. A combustion gas is exhausted from the second combustion gas gathering portion 10. A channel for a medium to be heated is formed in the periphery of the primary combustion chamber, the secondary combustion chamber, the first combustion gas gathering portion 9, a plurality of connecting pipes 11 and the second combustion gas gathering portion 10.
