Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new variable capacity capacitor element which: curbs a manufacturing cost with a simplified element structure; contributes to downsizing a device; enables a large electrostatic capacitance change to be obtained; and corresponds to a wide frequency range with possible availability in a high frequency range and to provide a method for manufacturing the variable capacity capacitor element.SOLUTION: A variable capacity capacitor element comprises: a substrate; a first electrode layer arranged on the substrate; a dielectric layer arranged on the first electrode layer; and a second electrode layer arranged on the dielectric layer. The dielectric layer is an ion-conducting dielectric layer which changes electrostatic capacitance when ions move inside the same with voltage applied between the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
