PURPOSE: To provide a low-cost and high performance bandsaw blade to facilitate manufacture by a method wherein a repeating tooth pattern and each set tooth of each tooth pattern are respectively disposed and the height of the last tooth of the repeat pattern is higher than by a specified ratio than that of the tooth of the starting end of the repeat pattern.

CONSTITUTION: A bandsaw blade 10 has a plurality of teeth 12 disposed at a body 13 having a linear rear edge 14. The tooth 12 consists of a tip part 16 and a groove part 18. In the case the spot of the tip is arranged along an inclining virtual plane extending from the beginning 22 and the end 24 of the repeat pattern of the tooth. A tooth height difference to the length of each repeat pattern is set to a value within a range of 0.015 (0.038 cm)-0.020 inch (0.051 cm). As a result, the tooth of each repeat pattern is monotonously increased from the beginning 22 to the end 24. Meanwhile, setting of the tooth is synchronized with a pattern of a repeated tooth and decided by a repeat set pattern wherein, for example, alternate right and left set teeth 32 form a number of subsequent rake teeth 30.
