Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reliably change nozzle area with simple construction so as to improve efficiency, in an expansion turbine using a variable nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: A variable nozzle (constituted of a stationary ring 8, nozzle blades 9, and a movable ring 10) provided on the outer circumference of turbine blades 2 is provided outside a vacuum cold reserving tank 14 to which the turbine is fixed, and change of nozzle area is attained by rotating the movable ring 10 due to rectilinear motion of an actuator 11.
