Abstract:

To realize appropriate supercharged pressure in an EGR area in an engine having a variable nozzle type turbocharger.

An engine ECU performs a program including a step (S130) selecting an EGR operation map in the EGR area, a step (S140) determining a target supercharged pressure based on the EGR operation map, a step (S150) calculating a nozzle opening when the target supercharged pressure is realized, a step (S160) outputting control signals to a DC servo motor which is an actuator for a nozzle valve, a step (S170) detecting a deviation between the target supercharged pressure and an actual supercharged pressure, and a step (S200) correcting the corrective amount of the control signals to the DC servo motor and data on the position sensor of the DC servo motor when the calculation of a mean deviation is completed (YES in S180) and the absolute value of the mean deviation is larger than a predetermined value (YES in S190).
