Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify a structure to reduce cost by eliminating the need for an emergency stop cylinder and the associated hydraulic tubing, etc., and to enhance reliability by reducing the possibility of pressure oil leakage.
CONSTITUTION: In a variable-pitch blade type windmill in which the pitch angle θof each blade 1 is varied by a blade angle controlling cylinder 2 via a link 5, a gas spring cylinder 6 is provided in series with the blade angle controlling cylinder 2, and the link 5 is pressed by gas pressure 6a in the direction in which the blade 1 closes in the wind direction.
