Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable power optical system that is small and has good optical performance, an optical apparatus and a method for manufacturing a variable power optical system.SOLUTION: The variable power optical system includes, successively from an object side, a first lens group G1 having a positive refractive power, a second lens group G2 having a negative refractive power, a third lens group G3 having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens group G4 having a negative refractive power, and a fifth lens group G5 having a positive refractive power, in which upon varying powers from a wide angle end state to a telephoto end state, intervals among the lens groups vary; and upon focusing, the fourth lens group G4 moves along the optical axis. A lens component G3L closest to the image side in the third lens group G3 is a cemented lens produced by cementing a negative lens and a positive lens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
