Abstract:
PURPOSE: To moderate the abrupt variation of the flow rate and the delivery pressure of a feed water pump and prevent the constituents of the flow way from deteriorating and improve the usability of utilities, by gradually increasing the revolution of feed water pump, when only a small quantity of feed water is detected.
CONSTITUTION: Before a feed water pump 1 in which only a small quantity of water is detected by a detector 3, is stopped, a pressure tank 5 is pressurized and accumulated with water. In this time, an output-delaying means 15 of a pressurizing signal controls so as to gradually increase the pump revolution by multiplying a certain revolutional number output from a pump controller 7 by a specified time and outputting the revolution to a variable-speed means 2. And hence, the revolutional number of feed water pump driven by the variable-speed means 2 is gradually increased for a specified time interval and a specified volume of water is accumulated and pressurized in the pressure tank 5. Accordingly, abrupt variation of flow rate and delivery pressure is moderated.
