Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved micro-mixer combustor design for use with a gas turbine engine.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a combustor 100 for use with a gas turbine engine. The combustor 100 may include many micro-mixer fuel nozzles 120 positioned within an end cover 140, a common fuel tube 125 extending through the end cover 140 and in communication with the micro-mixer fuel nozzles 120, a linear actuator 200 to maneuver the common fuel tube 125 and the micro-mixer fuel nozzles 120, and a sealing support structure positioned between the end cover 140 and the common fuel tube 125.
