PURPOSE: To detect a vector at a high speed, by developing a display vector data to a picture element by a vector generator, and detecting the vector by coincidence of its picture element write address with an address of a register.
CONSTITUTION: From a display data list storage memory 4, its list is read out by an MPU1, and a vector data in the list, and a character data are supplied to a vector generator 8 and a character generator 7, respectively. Each this data is developed to a picture element by the generator, is stored in a pattern memory 9, and is cisplayed on a raster system display 16 by a display controlling circuit 10. Subsequently, the display data list is developed to a picture element by the vector generator 8. A write address in the course of development of this picture element is supplied to an address comparator 11 at every its updating, and is compared with an address of an address register 12.
