Abstract:
PURPOSE: To adjust a 1st feed amount while confirming whether or not the 1st feed amount is proper, to decide the proper feed amount without damaging a document and to shorten an adjusting time.
CONSTITUTION: An automatic document feeder 60 in which the document is set at an exposed position on a document platen glass 29 by giving the 1st feed amount and the 2nd feed amount to the document and allowing the document to abut on a scale based on the feed amount is provided with a feed amount adjusting means adjusting the 1st feed amount, an adjusting mode for making the feed amount adjusting means workable, and a control means to give the 1st feed amount set by the feed amount adjusting means to the document at the time of copying when the machine is set in the adjusting mode.
