Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an artificial vegetation base panel made of noncorrodible material and ensured to fix onto e.g. a perpendicular wall surface or sharply sloping surface such as of concrete through artificially rooting a plant such as a succulent dry plant onto the surface.
SOLUTION: This vegetation base panel is obtained by laying a porous granular material 5 on the surface of a water-permeable hardened form 4 of given shape made by hardening a necessary amount of granular elastic material 2 with an adhesive hardening material 3 followed by making a pressure contact bonding between the water-permeable hardened form 4 and the porous granular material 5. This vegetation base panel thus obtained is intended to grow the roots of a plant in the water-permeable hardened form 4 and the porous granular material 5 by rooting the plant in a rooting material 6 provided at the respective gaps between the granules of the porous granular material 5.
