Title:
VEGF-BINDING FUSION PEPTIDE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014047156
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an antibody-like substance not having an immunoglobulin structure, which can inhibit the binding or interaction between VEGF and VEFGR.

VEGF-binding fusion protein is a VEGF-binding peptide having a helix-loop-helix structure which comprises A block being a peptide forming α-helix structure and located at N-terminal, C block being a peptide forming α-helix structure and located at C-terminal, and B block being a peptide connecting A block and C block with covalent bonding, where thioredoxin is attached to the N-terminal of the A block, and the B block is a peptide having a specified amino acid sequence. The VEGF-binding fusion peptide inhibits cell proliferation.
