Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent air from directly blowing upon a shunt-off door to make it possible to prevent the closing of the door and the generation of abnormal sound due to wind pressure, by providing, at the upstream end of a casing, a windshield rib for covering the free end of the door when the door is fully opened. CONSTITUTION:When a dial is manupulated, a shut-off door 8 is opened and closed by means of a linkage. Due to the provision of a wind shield rib 12 air is prevented from directly blowing upon the shut-off door 8 upon full-opening so that no load in the direction in which the door 8 is closed is exerted thereto, and therefore, if the amount and velocity, etc. of blowing air are above their effective levels, the door 8 is surely held in its opening condition so that it is never unexpectedly closed. Accordingly, there may be prevented the closing of the shut-door by wind pressure and the generation of abnormal sound from a sealing sponge.
