Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle air conditioner capable of reducing exhaust resistance and achieving reductions in size and weight while suppressing vehicle aerodynamic drag and aerodynamic noise.SOLUTION: A vehicle air conditioner 10 comprises an outdoor section 11 that includes: an exhaust port 3 opening to a vehicle surface 91 forming a vehicle 90; a casing 1 surrounding the exhaust port 3; an outdoor blower 2 supplying attracted outdoor air toward the exhaust port 3; an outdoor air diffuser 6a formed along a side edge of the exhaust port 3 on the vehicle surface 91; an outdoor air intake port 5a formed at a position away from the exhaust port 3 on the vehicle surface 91 by a preset distance; and a duct 4a communicating the outdoor air intake port 5a with the outdoor air diffuser 6a. The outdoor air intake port 5a and the outdoor air diffuser 6a are provided on the exhaust port 3 at least toward a moving direction of the vehicle 90, and a cross-sectional area of the duct 4a is gradually smaller from the outdoor air intake port 5a toward the outdoor air diffuser 6a.
