CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle air conditioner 1 comprising equipment 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 constituting a refrigerating cycle and an inverter unit 10 serving as an operational power source for the equipment, all of which are installed on the roof 2a of a vehicle 2, a distribution board 11 is provided on the roof 2a of the vehicle 2 and operation cables 12a, 12b are extended from the inverter unit 10 into a vehicle room 2b via the distribution board 11 and have their extension-side end portions connected to an operation panel 13 which indicates the operated state of the inverter.
