Abstract:
To solve the problem that an actual appearance may not be expressed faithfully by virtual representation of conventional paint-finished appearance.
This image generation part 40 renders an image of a prescribed region of a vehicle based on surface shape data acquired by actually measuring the prescribed region of the vehicle and visual information including the direction of the prescribed region of the vehicle, the color of a paint painted on the vehicle, the position and the color of illumination when displaying the image, and the position and the direction of viewpoint when displaying the prescribed region of the vehicle.
