This on-vehicle audio apparatus is provided with an apparatus main body 11 which has a radio broadcast receiving part and audio reproducing parts 6-8 built-in and on which openings 14-16 are opened on the front part 11a for loading a recording medium, a front panel 12 assembled in the main body 11 for opening/closing the part 11a freely and an indicator 13 assembled on the panel 12 to have a display surface on the first main surface 12a which becomes a front side in a state that the part 11a is blocked. On the indicator 13, an audio output is displayed for displaying the state of an audio output or the like and the meter sensor outputs detected by meter sensors 3-5 installed in an engine room are also displayed.
