PURPOSE: To realize complete automatization of preset tuner by selecting a reception area corresponding to a current location automatically based on a range data obtained by a GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver and presetting a broadcast station automatically in response to the selected reception area.
CONSTITUTION: When a current location data of a vehicle is sent from a GPS receiver A, a reception area selection means B selects a reception area corresponding to the current location data of the vehicle from a table storage means C and reads a data of a preset station designated in the selected reception area and sends it to a preset means D. The preset means D presets each station to a tuner section E based on a sent data of each preset data. Thus, even when the reception area of a radio broadcast is changed due to a long distance drive or the like and the station having been received so far is disabled of reception, a new broadcast station is preset automatically corresponding to the current location data of the vehicle. Thus, a completely automatic on-vehicle automatic preset tuner is realized.
