Abstract:
To provide a structure for preventing water immersion of a vehicular battery which can reliably prevent a battery from being immersed in water in a case that the battery is disposed below a cowl grille and in front of an outside air introduction port of a dash panel.SOLUTION: A structure for preventing water immersion of a vehicular battery of the invention includes: a dash panel 8 formed with an outside air introduction port 8a; a cowl grille 10 including a lower cowl grille 14 and an upper cowl grille 12; a battery 16 disposed below the cowl grille 10 and in front of the outside air introduction port 8a; and a cover member 18. The upper cowl grille 12 is provided with a first drain passage 26. The cover member 18 is provided with second drain passages 18c, 18d located below the first drain passage 26 and extending to a position at the outer side relative to an outer shell of the battery 16. At least one of both end parts 26d, 26e of the first drain passage 26 is disposed so as to overlap with at least parts of the second drain passages 18c, 18d in a plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
