To simplify a system and to save power of maintenance by adopting a butterfly solenoid valve of large capacity as a solenoid valve opening/closing-controlled by solenoid valve devices.
This vehicle body inclination system is provided with left and right air springs 2 and 3 for absorbing vibration of a carriage, an air tank 4 for supplying air to the air springs 2 and 3, vehicle height sensors 5 and 6 for detecting the heights of the air springs 2 and 3, the solenoid valve devices 7 and 8 for controlling flow rate of air supplied to the air springs 2 and 3 from the air tank 4, a compressor 8 for filling air at constant pressure into the air tank 4, and a vehicle body inclination control device 10 for commanding a prescribed air flow rate control to the solenoid valve devices 7 and 8 by the detected values of the vehicle height sensors 5 and 6, speed of the vehicle and positional information. Each of the solenoid valve devices 7 and 8 has the butterfly type solenoid valve 110 for adjusting air flow rate by a rotary angle θof a butterfly type valve element 41 and a valve control part 111 for controlling the rotary angle θof the butterfly valve element 41 corresponding to an air flow rate command value from the vehicle body inclination control device 10.
