To prevent or suppress any inclination of a B pillar inward of a cabin or any breakage of a cross member in a side impact of a vehicle.
A reinforcing member 34 is provided on the inner side in the vehicle width direction of a coupling part of a B pillar 20 and a rocker 12, and the reinforcing member 34 includes a longitudinal wall part 34A located with a spacing inward of the vehicle width of an inner longitudinal wall part 16A in the vehicle width direction of a rocker inner 16, and an upper wall part 34B located with a space above an upper wall part 16B of the rocker inner 16. Further, a floor cross member 54 is coupled with the longitudinal wall part 34A of the reinforcing member 34, and crash beads 38, 40 are formed on the upper wall part 34B, a front wall part 34F and the rear wall part 34G of the reinforcing member 34. Thus, the collision load applied on the B pillar 20 in the side impact of the vehicle is received by the reinforcing member 34, and the reinforcing member 34 is squeezed to prevent or suppress any inclination of the B pillar 20 inward of the cabin or any breakage of the cross member 54.
