The structure includes: a lateral member 55 laid above the storage recess 14 across right and left rear frames 12, 12; a longitudinal member 56 with its rear end attached to a substantial center of the lateral member 55 and with its front end extending forward of a vehicle body and supported by the article 15 on the floor panel side or a vehicle body skeletal member; at least three tire locator surfaces 59, 59, 61 provided on the lateral member 55 and the longitudinal member 56; and a fixing screw part 62 provided on the longitudinal member 56 to fix spare tire 17.
