To provide a vehicle body side portion structure capable of reducing a side sill by efficiently transmitting (dispersing) a load working from vehicle body front side to a door (door beam).
The vehicle body side portion structure 10 includes a front door 15 installed on a front vehicle opening portion 22 through a front hinge 14; a front door beam 52 which is installed on the front door and whose front end is coupled to the front hinge; and an interaction 13 which is mounted on the vehicle body front side of the front hinge and transmits a load to the vehicle body rear. The front hinge includes a front mount portion 37 provided at a vehicle body 11 and a front coupling portion 38 which is rotatably supported on the front mount portion and which is coupled to the front door beam. The front mount portion has a front receiving portion 42 receiving a load working from the interaction.
