Abstract:
To provide a vehicle body side part structure capable of suppressing crack and buckling, and improving impact resistance to an input load from a side.SOLUTION: A vehicle body side part structure 1 comprises a center pillar 2 extending along a vertical direction and having a lower end coupled to a side sill 16. The center pillar 2 is formed into a salient which becomes a salient shape to outside of a width direction of vehicle, in view from the vertical direction, by a side wall 4 facing the vehicle width direction, a front wall 5 extending inward of the vehicle width direction from a front end part of the side wall 4, and a rear wall 6 extending inward of the vehicle width direction from a rear end part of the side wall 4. On a lower side of the center pillar 2, at least one of the front wall 5 and the rear wall 6 has a ridge line part 10 extending in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
