Abstract:
To prevent the deterioration of workability of assembling a socket to a ball joint while reducing noise during traveling.SOLUTION: An opening/closing body structure 1 for a vehicle comprises: an opening/closing body 20 covering an opening of a vehicle body; a support column 30 with one end connected to the vehicle body and the other end 32 connected to the opening/closing body 20; a ball joint 40 provided on the opening/closing body 20; and a socket 50 provided at the other end 32 of the support column 30 and swingably accommodating the ball joint 40 to connect the other end 32 of the support column 30 and the opening/closing body 20. When the opening/closing body 20 covers the opening, an elastic body 100 provided on the support column 30 applies a force in a direction of pulling the socket 50 away from the ball joint 40, and the force can reduce noise during traveling. Since no force is applied when the opening/closing body 20 does not cover the opening, the elastic body 100 does not become an obstacle, and thus the deterioration of workability of assembling the socket 50 to the ball joint 40 can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
