Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking control device of a vehicle, which when the device fails, can accurately notify a driver of the failure of the device without giving a sense of incongruity to a driver.SOLUTION: A braking control device of a vehicle comprises: a simulator SSM which absorbs braking liquid that a master cylinder MCL discharges and imparts operation force to a braking operation member BP; opening/closing means VSM which is interposed between the master cylinder MCL and the simulator SSM; a first pressure-adjusting mechanism CA1 that adjusts liquid pressure of a first wheel cylinder WC1; a second pressure-adjusting mechanism CA2 that adjusts liquid pressure of a second wheel cylinder WC2; determining means HNT that determines whether operations of the first and second pressure-adjusting mechanisms are in a proper state or in an improper state; and control means SOL that controls the opening/closing means VSM. The control means SOL, when the determining means HNT determines that the operations of the first and second pressure-adjusting mechanisms CA1 and CA2 are in the improper state, puts the opening/closing means VSM into a shut-off state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
