Abstract:
To provide a vehicle transporter that can prevent even a vehicle loaded on a cargo bed by self-travelling from coming into contact with a lateral gate.SOLUTION: A vehicle transporter 1 includes: a vehicle body 10; a cargo bed 20; a lateral gate 23; a proximity sensor 40 serving as detection means installed in a rear end part 23a of the lateral gate 23 so that the proximity sensor 40 detects a vehicle C approaching the lateral gate 23 when the vehicle C is loaded on the cargo bed 20 from a rear side; and notification means 43 for notifying of detection of the vehicle C that approaches the lateral gate 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
