Abstract:
To provide an on-vehicle charge payment device less susceptible to interference from portable communication terminals brought into the vehicle.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 30 for charge payment mounted on a vehicle, includes a roadside unit communication unit 31 that communicates with a roadside device for charge payment installed on the roadside when a vehicle travels on a toll road; a terminal communication unit 32 that communicates with the portable communication terminal in a frequency band different from the frequency band that communicates with the roadside device; and a tollhouse area determination unit 35 that determines that the vehicle has entered the tollhouse area where communication with the roadside unit is possible. The terminal communication unit 32 transmits a request signal to request interference avoidance measures to the portable communication terminal based on the determination by the tollhouse area determination unit that the vehicle has entered the tollhouse area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
