To provide a vehicle collision safety device of relatively simple structure to mitigate the shock on thighs, ankles and a chest of an occupant to improve the safety when a large external force is applied in a vehicle collision, etc.
A push-up mechanism part 1 to push feet 12 upward when an external force is applied is provided on a floor panel side at the feed 12 of an occupant 10 seated in a seat part 17. When the feet 12 are lifted, tights 11 of the occupant 10 are released upward to greatly reduce the pressure during the abutting on an instrument panel 15 which is generated in the thighs 11. Upward movement of the thighs 12 mitigates the compression by a steering wheel 18 against an upper body of the occupant 10, and reduces damages on a chest 13 by the steering wheel 18.
