PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to recognize system allowance time and handover time.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus 100 includes: a lane recognition part 11 for recognizing a travel lane of a vehicle V; a travel control part 12 for controlling traveling of the vehicle V so that an operation state of the vehicle V is an automatic operation; a system allowance time estimation part 15 for estimating system allowance time until the travel control part 12 stops controlling the travel of the vehicle V on the basis of accuracy of detecting a white line; a handover time estimation part 14 for estimating handover time in which the operation state of the vehicle V returns from the state of an automatic operation to a manual operation of a driver on the basis of the state of the driver; and an HMI control part 17 for displaying the system allowance time and the handover time on a display 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
