Abstract:
To reduce regenerative energy that cannot be recovered in a hybrid vehicle.SOLUTION: In a vehicle control device 1 for a hybrid vehicle 100, when it is predicted by a filter regeneration prediction part 24 that regeneration of a filter 3f is performed before the hybrid vehicle 100 travels downhill, and it is predicted by a charge amount prediction part 25 that a charge amount of a battery 10 becomes full by charging the battery 10 with a regenerative brake when the hybrid vehicle 100 travels downhill, electric discharge from the battery 10, that is performed while applying propulsion power of an electric motor 2 to the hybrid vehicle 100 by electric power charged to the battery 10 is controlled by a charge/discharge control part 26 so that the battery 10 is prevented from being fully charged before regeneration of the filter 3f is performed, and therefore, regenerative energy, that cannot be recovered in the hybrid vehicle 100, can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
