Abstract:
A vehicle control device comprising: a water-covered state detection unit (103) that detects a water-covered state of a region where a post-treatment device (40) of an exhaust pipe (30) of an engine (10) is disposed; and a regeneration control unit (104) that performs regeneration control of the post-treatment device (40) on the basis of the amount of foreign matter deposited in the post-treatment device (40) or the amount of gas impurities occluded in the post-treatment device (40), wherein the water-covered state detection unit (103) prohibits regeneration of the post-treatment device (40) when the water-covered state of the post-treatment device (40) is detected.
