Abstract:
The invention provides a technology for opening and closing an opening and closing body in an appropriate order when a plurality of passengers enter a vehicle. A vehicle control device is provided with: an image capturing unit for capturing images of passengers in the vicinity of a vehicle; an estimation unit that estimates characteristics of the passengers on the basis of the images captured by the imaging unit; and a control unit for controlling the automatic opening and closing operation of the plurality of opening and closing bodies on the basis of the characteristics of the passengers, the control unit determining the opening and closing order of the plurality of opening and closing bodies on the basis of the characteristics of the plurality of passengers.
