Abstract:
This vehicular control device is provided with: a terminal ID acquisition unit (301) which, in the case where an integrated ECU (30) that is mounted on a vehicle and that is capable of performing control on a plurality of onboard devices accepts an additional ECU to be newly connected thereto for the purpose of updating software used for said control, acquires, from the additional ECU, a terminal ID for identifying each additional ECU; and a function restriction unit (304) which, from the terminal ID acquired by the terminal ID acquisition unit (301), changes the function allowed for the additional ECU according to an authentication level of the additional ECU determined on the basis of a registration association relationship in which the terminal ID is associated with the authentication level indicating the function to be authorized for the additional ECU.
