Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of preventing the stop of a driving source attributed to an incorrect operation of a press switch while a vehicle is travelling, and improving a user's convenience while the vehicle is stopped even when there is an abnormality caused in a travelling determination signal.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device 10 includes a vehicle state changeover control part 46 that allows changeover control for start/stop of a driving source or for on/off of an on-vehicle apparatus 18 by a normal pressing operation of an SSSW 22 while the vehicle is stopped, prohibits stop control for the driving source by the normal pressing operation of the SSSW 22 while the vehicle is travelling, and allows stop control for the driving source by a special pressing operation of the SSSW 22. A travelling determination part 44 determines that the vehicle 12 is stopped when at least one of a plurality of signals indicating whether the vehicle 12 is travelling or stopped is abnormal, and all the signals in which abnormality is not caused are stop signals.
