Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable switchover of the drive state of a vehicle from an automatic drive to a manual drive in an appropriate mode.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus, for use in switching a drive state of a vehicle to a manual drive in a case where the vehicle under an automatic drive reaches a pre-determined initial switchover position, includes a vehicle control part for switching the drive state of the vehicle from the automatic drive to the manual drive, where the switchover from the automatic drive to the manual drive includes a switchover from an automatic steering to a manual steering, and switchover from an automatic speed adjustment and a manual speed adjustment. Further, the vehicle control part is capable of executing, as mutually independent control, a switchover from the automatic steering to the manual steering, and a switchover from the automatic speed adjustment to the manual speed adjustment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
