Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly protect each component of a current route from heating, while suppressing influence to power characteristics of a vehicle in which external charging is available.SOLUTION: An ECU 300 of a vehicle includes: an evaluation function generation part 340 which forms an evaluation function which evaluates temperature of components based on current which flows on components relevant to the current route; an Mwin/Mwout computing part 350 which computes a first limit value of charging and discharging power of an energy storage device 110 based on comparison with an output value of the evaluation function and a threshold; and a correction part 360 which corrects a second limit value of charging and discharging power of the energy storage device 110 which is set from SOC (State of Charge) based on the first computed limit value. Then the ECU 300 drives onboard electric equipment so that the charging and discharging power of the energy storage device 110 becomes within the limits of the second corrected limit value.
