Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize torque control in which discomfort given to a driver is reduced.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device includes: a total torque calculation part which calculates the total toque for driving a motor provided in each of right and left driving wheels of a vehicle on the basis of the vehicle velocity of the vehicle and a control input of an accelerator on the vehicle; a torque difference calculation part which calculates the torque difference between the motors respectively provided in the right and left driving wheels required for turning the vehicle on the basis of a steering angle of the vehicle; and a distribution part which, in a case in which torque is distributed to each of the motors on the basis of the total torque and the torque difference, distributes torque to each of the motors so as not to exceed the upper limit of the torque of the motors in accordance with a prioritized acceleration property or turning property on the basis of a situation of the vehicle when the torque exceeds the upper limit of the torque that can be generated by the motors.
