Abstract:
An engine (2), a first rotary electric machine (3), and a second rotary electric machine (4) are mounted in a vehicle. The power of the engine (2) and the power of the first rotary electric machine (3) are individually transmitted to driving wheels from power transmission paths different from each other, and the power of the engine (2) is also transmitted to the second rotary electric machine (4). The vehicle is provided with a connection/disconnection mechanism (20) on the power transmission path for transmitting the power of the engine (2) to the driving wheels. In addition, when an engagement state of the connection/disconnection mechanism (20) is released during the operation of the engine (2), a control device (5) of the vehicle controls the torque of the second rotary electric machine (4) while maintaining the required torque of the engine (2).
