To inhibit an electric motor from being vibrated by a torsional distortion in a vehicle in which the electric motor is mechanically connected to a wheel when a position of a shift lever is changed from a parking position to another position.
An accumulated rotational angle SAw is calculated by accumulating the quantity of an average rotational angle change Aw of the driving wheel since the shift lever is shifted to the parking position (S100, S110). When a driver treads a brake pedal 65 and the shift lever 61 is changed to another position (S120, S130), the motor is controlled by setting a vibration inhibiting torque Tco and a torque instruction Tm* of the motor based on the accumulated rotational angle SAw (S140-S160). A parking lock is released after the vibration inhibiting torque Tco is outputted from the motor (S170).
