Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device for ensuring that heat generation does not occur in a power supply lane where electric power is supplied to a running vehicle even if there is a foreign matter on the road.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device, which is mounted on a vehicle 1, includes: power supply request transmitting means by a wireless transmitting/receiving part 11 that wirelessly transmits a power supply request to a power supply management device that directly or indirectly manages power supply to a power supply unit; foreign object detection means by a front recognition part 12 for detecting a presence of foreign matter existing in a certain range on a road ahead of the vehicle 1; and power supply suspending instructing means that transmits a power supply suspending request to stop or suppress the power supply from the power supply unit existing in a predetermined range before and after a point where the presence of the foreign matter is detected by the wireless transmitting/receiving part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
