Abstract:

Several detectors (41-46), limit switch (LS) and vehicle-type detector (47) respectively output position error signals of a crash pad (25) and car (3), distance error signal of pad mounting position, overhead hanger advancing signal and vehicle-type detection signal. A controller (53) controls positioning of pad supply-and-locating robot (29) and synchronizing of a truck (7) and hanger (5), based on the detected signals. An independent claim is included for vehicle crash pad locating control method.
