Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent trouble data to be transmitted from being missed, in a vehicle which transmits a trouble detection signal to a trouble diagnosing station outboard of the vehicle upon occurrence of a trouble, by discriminating the communication condition so that trouble data is stored in memory upon detection of an inferior communication. CONSTITUTION:A trouble diagnosing communication unit 5 installed on an automobile, is adapted to control the flow of trouble data signals from a control unit 4 for a fuel control system, an antiskid brake system, a four wheel steering system and the like, and transmits prepared trouble data to a trouble diagnosing station 3 outboard of the automobile through a communication unit 6. In this arrangement, there is provided a means for determining whether the signal receiving condition of signals from a trouble diagnosing communication unit 5 or the diagnosing station 3 is satisfactory or not. Further, if it is determined that the signal receiving condition is inferior, trouble data delivered from the control unit is temporarily stored in a memory section disposed in the unit 5.
