Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily confirm the operating condition of a secondary brake device, by providing a device for indicating the operation of the secondary brake device. CONSTITUTION:Primary and secondary brake devices 4, 5 are arranged on both side surfaces of a front wheel. Hydraulic fluid is introduced from a primary master cylinder 11 into a primary caliper 8 secured to the front end of a torque arm 9 rotatably supported to a front axle 3. The operating arm 9a of the torque arm 9 depresses a piston 17 in a secondary master cylinder 16 secured to the lower section of a front fork 1. Hydraulic pressure generated from the secondary master cylinder 16 is fed into a secondary caliper 14. Further, the movement of the torque arm 9 is detected by means of a sensor switch, and indicated by an indicating lamp.
