When a vehicle altitude varies in the positive direction, the on-vehicle display control device stores the vehicle altitudes h(+), h(+)' at that moment, and also alters the view point altitude to the sum of the newest view point altitude H(i) and an additional altitude ΔH which can be obtained from the difference h(+) or h(+)' between the present altitude h(i) of the vehicle and the altitude of the vehicle. When the vehicle altitude varies in the negative direction, the device stores the vehicle altitude h(-), and also alters the view point altitude to the summed value of the initial value H of the view point altitude and an additional altitude ΔH which can be obtained from ΔH=(an accumulated value ΣΔH of additional altitudes ΔH in the positive direction)-(the vehicle altitude h(-)-the present altitude h (i) of the vehicle).
