Abstract:
To provide an opening/closing body assembly with a rack having a simple opening/closing body drive structure at low cost, in which a driving force is transmitted to the opening/closing body via the rack to open/close the vehicle door window opening.SOLUTION: The opening/closing body assembly for a vehicle door, which includes: an opening/closing body having a curved shape along the vehicle door for opening and closing a window opening of a vehicle door; and a rack for transferring a driving force of a drive source attached to the opening/closing body to an opening/closing body. The rack has a straight shape before being attached to the opening/closing body, and after being attached to the opening/closing body, the shape changes into a curved shape along the opening/closing body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
