To provide a vehicle door checker device that reduces a load on a checker rod to obtain stable open/close feeling and click feeling.

The vehicle door checker device includes: a checker rod 10 having one end 10a rotatably attached to a vehicle body 4 and the other end 10b with a stopper 11, and undulation sections 12-14 constituting resistance sections A-C formed on the surfaces from the one end to the other end; clamping members 21 and 22 having an opening 40a for allowing the checker rod to pass through, stored in a case 40 fixed to a door 2, and slidably supporting the undulation section of the checker rod sandwiched between both ends; and damper members 31 and 32 for applying a pressing force to the clamping members in opposite directions each other. On at least one of the surfaces 131 and 132 of the undulation section located in the resistance section of the checker rod, continuous concave-convex sections 15A and 15B are formed to generate sliding resistance in moving a door open/close direction.
