To provide a vehicle door system capable of reducing the number of wires for connecting a vehicle body controller and a door unit mutually irrespective of its simple configuration.
The door unit 20 includes a sensor detection circuit 21 for monitoring whether a locking signal is input from a lock sensor 22 or not and whether an unlocking signal is input from an unlock sensor 23 or not and a door side output circuit 24 for generating a high frequency pulse signal and a low frequency pulse signal in accordance with type of commands detected by the sensor detection circuit 21 and outputting these generated pulse signals into the vehicle body controller 10 by using the wire L2 for a fixed period of time T1. The vehicle body controller 10 includes a CPU 13 for determining type of command based on the frequencies of the pulse signals input by using the wire L2.
